July 26th, 2007 – Indopersda Primamedia (Persda), has ordered two Goss Community SSC four-high towers and one folder for daily newspapers Tribun Timur and Kompas Daily, in Makassar, South Sulawesi. The new four-high towers and folder will be added to an existing Community SSC press installed in 2002 to increase color and pagination of the newspapers from 24 pages to 44 pages.
Carolus Budiarto, executive manager at Persda, comments, “We have many years of experience with Community SSC presses across our portfolio of products and locations and find they are very easy to use and deliver consistently good quality. The service and support we receive from Goss International is excellent - even if the presses were manufactured in 1970, they are able to supply spare parts to keep us up and running.”
With headquarters in Jakarta, Persda publishes 11 regional newspapers across three time zones in Indonesia. Titles include Serambi Indonesia, Pos Kupang, Tribun Kaltim, Banjarmasin Post and Pos Kupang with circulations ranging from 12,000 to 28,000 copies per day.
